The Investment Analyst will have the opportunity to work directly with senior members of the team on all aspects of the investment process - from idea origination and research through due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio company monitoring and consulting. This is a unique opportunity to help evaluate investments in some of the most exciting technology companies in the world. Select Responsibilities: • Conduct research and diligence on potential investments; including fundamental financial modeling, valuation analyses, market sizing, and competitive benchmarking. • Evaluate emerging trends and conduct thematic research. • Use data and market signals to identify and surface breakout companies. • Support portfolio value-add projects such as preparing presentations for management on topics including competition, IPO preparation, or margin expansion. • Monitor portfolio company financial, operating, and competitive performance. • Aid quarterly fair value process to assist Glade Brook investor reporting. • Help manage investment team CRM and pipeline reporting. Requirements • 0-2 years of relevant finance or technical experience (investment banking, private equity/venture capital, management consulting, or a related field); this is designed for pre-MBA candidates • Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, economics, or another technical or quantitative field. • Working knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, and core accounting concepts. • Strong interest in technology and venture/growth-stage investing. • Genuine intellectual curiosity. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • A desire to work and win as a team.
