Your role

Are you a trusted advisor with strong client relationships and deep expertise across debt capital markets? Do you enjoy originating and executing strategic financing solutions for corporate, financial institution, and sovereign clients?

We're looking for somebody to join our Latin America DCM Coverage team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing senior client relationships, originating debt financing opportunities, and leading transaction execution across the Latin American region. You will work closely with coverage bankers, syndicate, capital markets, and product specialists to deliver innovative financing solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives.

Your team

You will be part of the Americas Debt Capital Markets platform within Global Banking, working closely with industry coverage teams and capital markets professionals across the Americas and globally. The team advises clients on a broad range of debt financing solutions and supports capital raising, liability management, ratings advisory, and strategic financing initiatives.

Your expertise

- Originate and execute debt capital markets transactions for Latin American corporate, financial institution, and sovereign clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives, CFOs, treasurers, and key decision-makers.
- Provide strategic advice on funding, capital structure, liability management, and market positioning.
- Help lead transaction execution from origination through pricing and closing.
- Partner closely with Coverage, Leveraged & Debt Capital Markets, Syndicate, Sales & Trading, Risk, Legal, and other product teams.
- Analyze market developments and identify financing opportunities across investment grade, emerging markets, sustainable finance, and other debt products.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, financing proposals, and market updates.
- Mentor and develop junior bankers while contributing to the overall growth and culture of the team.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements.

- Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
- Significant investment banking experience within Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Capital Markets, or related areas.
- You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York USD 275000 /annum
