As an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage, you will join a team with a strong track record and play a key role in expanding Santander's energy practice.
  • Support deal execution, including preparing pitch books, client presentations, and transaction materials
  • Perform detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis
  • Manage due diligence processes and coordinate across internal teams and client counterparties
  • Actively participate in client meetings and deal discussions
  • Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support origination and client strategy
  • Engage directly with senior bankers and clients, contributing to live transactions and developing strategic insights

  • To perform this role successfully, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, STEM, or a related field - Required
  • 1-3 years of Investment banking experience or 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting/audit, or within the energy or infrastructure sector
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and investment banking products, with energy experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and valuation
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to contribute to team building and culture

It Would Be Nice For You To Have:
  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series 79) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.


What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:
$110,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$135,000.00 USD
