Full Job Description
Methodist Hospital is seeking an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Supervisor to lead daily clinical operations and staff oversight for our neuromonitoring service line. Working a flexible Monday through Friday day shift with required on-call coverage, this position combines leadership, quality assurance, and direct patient care during complex surgical procedures. Qualified candidates must hold an active CNIM certification through ABRET and bring at least 5 years of hands-on relevant experience in a hospital setting. Job Description: Partners with the Manager and/or Director to plan, direct, and coordinate the daily operations, workflow, and performance of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring and Neurophysiology staff. Supervises personnel involved in EP and IONM services, ensuring compliance with departmental policies, procedures, protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Independently performs and provides oversight for advanced neurodiagnostic and neuromonitoring techniques, including ABR, cranial, cortical and subcortical mapping, phase reversal, ECOG, DCMEPs, and other specialized modalities in both surgical and non-surgical settings. Serves as a clinical expert and resource for complex cases, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives. Trains, mentors, and precepts team members, supporting professional development and competency achievement. Assists in the development and implementation of programs, reports, guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness and patient outcomes. Promotes exceptional patient care and fosters collaborative relationships with physicians, colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams through effective communication, professionalism, mutual respect, and a commitment to continuous learning and high-quality neurodiagnostic services. 3li2Associate's Degree is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. 3li25+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience preferred. 3li2Requires registry in CNIM.
