Full Job Description
The Clinical Manager partners with the Director of Surgical Services to execute and sustain strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. The role provides operational planning, analysis, AI-enabled tools, and cross-functional coordination to translate priorities into executable plans, establish accountability, manage risks and dependencies, and drive implementation across Corporate, Division, and Facility teams. Up to 50% travel required.

Major Responsibilities
• Lead enterprise projects from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and closeout.
• Translate strategic priorities into project plans, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish project governance, accountability, reporting, decision-making, and escalation processes.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and reprioritize work based on evolving business needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across clinical, operational, finance, analytics, supply chain, IT, construction, and other stakeholder groups.
• Monitor scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes; proactively facilitate resolution or escalation.
• Develop executive-ready updates, dashboards, presentations, briefing materials, and recommendations, using approved AI tools where appropriate to accelerate drafting, synthesis, and development of work products while maintaining appropriate human review.
• Analyze operational and business data using traditional analytics and AI-assisted methods, as appropriate, to identify trends, performance gaps, process variation, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support Surgical Services assessments focused on workflow, throughput, capacity, utilization, efficiency, patient experience, and other enterprise priorities.
• Lead process improvement activities, including current-state assessment, future-state design, action planning, implementation, and performance tracking.
• Develop and standardize operational tools, procedures, templates, playbooks, AI-enabled workflows, and resources that enable consistent and efficient execution.
• Coordinate implementation of technology, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled operational solutions, including readiness, governance, validation, communication, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and performance monitoring.
• Evaluate opportunities to integrate AI into Surgical Services workflows and project execution; define use cases, expected outcomes, workflow changes, and measures of effectiveness in partnership with clinical, operational, analytics, and IT stakeholders.
• Use AI responsibly and in accordance with organizational policies, privacy and security requirements, and applicable regulations; validate AI-generated outputs and maintain appropriate human oversight for clinical and operational decisions.
• Partner with Division and Facility leaders to implement corporate Surgical Services initiatives while addressing local operational needs and constraints.
• Coordinate vendor deliverables, timelines, implementation requirements, and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Support business planning and operational analyses through data organization, assumption documentation, stakeholder coordination, and decision tracking.
• Identify and incorporate lessons learned to strengthen execution, operational consistency, and sustainability.
• Maintain effective relationships with Corporate, Division, Facility, physician, and external stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings and committees as required and adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct, Mission, and Values.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Operations, or related field - Required
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field - Preferred
• 3+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs, or operational initiatives in healthcare - Required
• 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferably perioperative services - Preferred
