How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Clinical & Operational Leadership: Direct daily Cath Lab workflows, coordinate staff assignments, and serve as the primary clinical resource to ensure seamless patient throughput and exceptional care.
  • Team Mentorship & Development: Spearhead staff orientation, hands-on training, and continuous coaching while providing key technical input for annual performance evaluations.
  • Imaging Excellence & PACS Precision: Accurately position patients, select optimal technical parameters, and ensure the prompt submission of high-quality images and pristine patient data to PACS.
  • Quality Control & Equipment Management: Oversee routine quality control testing, manage advanced imaging equipment maintenance, and act as the lead troubleshooter for technical issues.
  • Compliance & Environment Safety: Maintain absolute compliance with all regulatory standards (Joint Commission, state guidelines) while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cardiac-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) and Curriculum Vitae (CV) also accepted.


Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
