Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients, addressing questions and planning concerns.

Full Job Description

As a Global Employer Services Tax Associate you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around two core concepts; your technical & quality Expertise, and delivering excellent client service:

  • Prepare tax returns, tax equalizations, and other global compensation

  • Prepare and review international assignment-related calculations such as tax cost projections

  • Review global compensation for US tax reporting purposes

  • Demonstrate solid understanding and remain up to date on tax codes, regulations, rulings, and case law

  • Interact directly with clients handling questions, planning, concerns, etc.

  • Stays alert to client needs that may result in growth opportunities for the firm and communicates to client service coordinator

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Some travel may be required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university
  • CPA educational requirements for licensure in state of residence completed by start date
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to meet client service, quality, and performance expectations within applicable deadlines and in accordance with firm and client standards
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with firm personnel and clients in person, by telephone, and through electronic or written means
  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality of work in a fast paced, client service environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment and, as required by the role, at client sites, including the ability to sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to maintain consistent, onsite presence during core business hours including the ability to regularly report to a firm office location and travel to client sites as required, including access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work extended and/or non standard hours during peak periods or as necessary to meet client, project, or firm business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • An active accreditation obtained, in process or willing and able to obtain one of the following: CPA, EA, licensed attorney, or one of the following certifications
  • Foreign language skills a plus

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $74,800 - $89,250
