International & Federal Tax Associate | DC |

Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking an Associate with 4-5 years of experience to work with its International & Federal team within the Tax practice group in the Washington, DC office. We are looking to add a team member with experience in international structuring and projects related to companies undergoing large-scale management or structural changes. This role also involves negotiating, documenting, and advising multinational clients on the tax considerations related to domestic and cross-border transactions.

We are seeking candidates who possess key qualities and skills for this position.
  • Four to five years of law firm or government experience.
  • Skills and knowledge related to a broad range of tax matters and international tax policy.
  • Experience planning transactions-acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, restructurings and finance company arrangements-to achieve desired business objectives in the most tax-efficient manner.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic records and impressive communication abilities.
  • Availability to work in the office at least three days per week.
  • Confidence, self-motivation, a team-player mindset, and the ability to assume responsibility for matters in an active practice.


The salary range for our Associate position is $310,000-365,000.
