Holland & Hart is seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 4-7 years of experience to join the Corporate Group's Emerging Growth practice. This position may be based in any of the firm's offices.
This is an opportunity to participate in one of the most vibrant and fastest growing emerging growth markets in the country that serves clients located across the country. Holland & Hart's emerging company and venture capital practice would provide the qualified applicant with the opportunity to develop and grow within a highly sophisticated practice. This position involves the representation of venture capital funds and emerging technology, consumer product and life science companies in debt and equity financings, M&A transactions, outside general counsel and general corporate counseling and related practices. Our emerging growth practice provides associate with direct client-facing and client-management opportunities early in their careers, and our associates have close proximity to world class outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, road and mountain cycling, climbing, fly-fishing and more in some of the country's most livable cities.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have 4-7 years of experience working at a top tier law firm with corporate experience focusing on emerging growth companies, venture capital funds and/or private equity funds in financings, acquisitions, and day-to-day governance matters. They will also have a strong interest in pursuing a similar practice in the Mountain West region.
Compensation and Expectations
Holland & Hart's compensation is merit-based-you'll be evaluated on your individual performance and achievements and on your contributions to the team's efforts. As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Holland & Hart is providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $225,000 - $270,000
Our generous bonus program rewards financial contributions and hard work and associates are also eligible for fee splits.
Holland & Hart expects associates to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work), in addition to at least 25 hours dedicated to Community-building, Diversity & Inclusion Investment hours.
