Full Job Description
The Internal Communications Specialist plays a critical role to support the execution of strategic internal communications programs for Marsh Risk Global and Marsh Canada. This role drives end-to-end development of content and campaigns including writing, editing, coordinating production and distribution, and measuring results—to ensure high-quality, on‑brand materials are delivered on time and reach the right audiences across intranet, email, newsletters, social and other channels.
We will count on you to:
• Drive and support end-to-end execution of strategic communications programs for Marsh Risk Global and Marsh Canada, ensuring content is high-quality, on-brand, engaging, and delivered on time across channels and formats.
• Write, edit, and proofread employee communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal distribution.
• Publish and maintain content across communication vehicles (intranet, email, newsletters, social media, etc.), keeping materials fresh, accurate, and available to target audiences.
• Coordinate distribution, audience segmentation and tracking; analyze distribution and engagement metrics to measure effectiveness and inform improvements.
• Support surveys, feedback collection and production logistics; summarize findings and recommend actions to boost employee engagement, brand awareness, and stakeholder relationships.
What you need to have:
• Professional experience in internal communications environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while remaining flexible to shifting team priorities.
• Proficiency in utilizing various communication mediums and platforms, including digital channels, social media, and multimedia content creation.
What makes you stand out:
• Strong writing and editorial skills with experience in content publishing, audience segmentation, metrics analysis, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint with experience using Dynamics for email distributions, and SharePoint for content publishing, document management, and intranet maintenance.
• Use AI technologies toachieve efficiencies in planning and producing internal communication deliverables
The applicable base salary range for this role is $69,800 to $139,700.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
