As an Intermediate Software Developer on the platform deployment team, you willbe responsible fordesigning, implementing, andmaintainingour Deployment infrastructure - which handles software deployment,updatesand upgrades. You will work closely with development teams to ensure the deployment and upgrade of software is reliable and efficient. You will act as a deployment evangelist, and yourexpertisewill drive our platform and system deployment transformation strategy.
Responsibilities- Learn and Adapt: Ability to handlenew technologies, languages, and frameworks while collaborating acrossall ofJSI
- Design: Implement and guide the deployment, update,upgradeand maintenance of software components
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of software.Diagnose and resolve issues with a mindset tokeepingthe system up and responsive for end users.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements to improve the observability of their code. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Documentation: Create andmaintaindocumentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures. Provide training and support to team members as needed.
Qualifications- 3-5 years of software engineering experience, with exposure to the entire stack of development (backend, APIs, UI).
- 1+ years working withDevSecOps
- Education: Software Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git,GitHuband Jenkins
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Infrastructure as code (Puppet, Chef, Ansible) and/or immutable infrastructure
- Ability to share, mentor, give and receive code review feedback openly, honestly, and fairly.
- Problem solving/troubleshooting mindset, customer-oriented and results focused.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Must be eligible for up to aTop SecretSecurity Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with AI development tools (Copilot, Claude Code)
- Experience with Ruby and Go
- ExperiencemaintainingAPIs and tooling relying on those APIs
- Experience with Linux, Windows, Virtualization
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud)
- Experience withOpenTofu, Ansible,Terragrunt, and Flux CD
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki)
- Experience in Agile development.
