Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Intermediate/Senior Structural Designer in St. John's, NL.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed design and drafting of structural systems in steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and field reviews; prepare observation reports and provide recommendations as required.
• Support Structural Engineers with project execution, ensuring designs meet applicable codes and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers on multidisciplinary projects to deliver integrated design solutions.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant structural design and drafting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong technical knowledge in the design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Solid understanding of contract and project management, including coordination with consultants, clients, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
