Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in interface development, integration engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of HL7 messaging standards and enterprise interface engines (e.g., Corepoint, Open Engine).
• Experience with SDLC principles, including change management.
• Proficiency in software testing, including unit and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in interface projects, providing technical input on design and development.
• Works with clinical business analysts and system engineers to translate functional requirements into interface specifications.
• Conducts interviews with end users to gather business and technical requirements.
• Develops interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and related documentation.
• Performs data conversion, unit testing, regression testing, and interface validation.
• Monitors interface performance and ensures adherence to established SLAs.
• Provides Tier 2/Tier 3 troubleshooting for interface-related incidents.
