JOB SUMMARYThe Director is responsible for directing, managing, and delegating individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The Director is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Minimum Qualifications: - Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years as Director or other management/supervisory experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred
- CCRN certification required.
Certifications and Competencies: - Age Specific Population Served: Neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Required Certifications/competencies upon hire: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Required Competencies acquired at hire: Stat Strip, Basic EKG, Hospital Mandatory Education
- Acquires the following certifications within 1 year of hire: TNCC
