Integration and Test Engineer
Location: Aurora, CO.

Job Description:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers. We are seeking a SI&T Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aurora, CO.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support a cross-disciplinary team of system and software engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
  • Assist in the documentation and definition of all Test and Integration events.
  • Must have a clear understanding of all test related requirements, interfaces, and test results.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to track and gather artifacts and analyze results.
  • Supporting the SI&T team in an Agile, DEvSecOps environment.
  • Support to overall test strategy, including plan and procedure development.
  • Integrating software and hardware.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
  • Development of automated test scripts and their execution.
  • Generation, review, maintenance, and management of documentation.
  • Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies.
  • Preparation and conduct of program reviews.
  • Collaborating across functions in support of successful program execution.
  • Supporting technical interchange meetings with the customer.

Required Skills:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience.
  • Experience in systems and requirements in a test environment: requirements analysis, developing associated documentation for integration and verification (plans, procedures, and reports), and supporting integration and verification execution events.
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in Java development, Experience engaging with and presenting technical and programmatic leadership.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Systems Engineering on a large government program, with preference for ground systems solutions programs.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps, Experience in pipeline, and associated tools (Jenkins).
  • Experience in manual testing techniques including writing new procedures from scratch and maintaining/updating legacy test procedures.
  • Experience in automation testing tool suites such as Gherkins/Cucumber.
  • Master's degree in (STEM).
