Pay Rate: Min $98,966.40 Mid $123,697.60

Position Summary
Designs and implements information systems integration that is appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, collects and analyzes information from system users and Analysts to formulate the scope and objectives of the integration. Prepares process maps, business requirements documents, and design documents. Interprets business requirements and designs system solutions. Estimates the costs of solutions and define tasks to be included in project plans. Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide system users and/or Analysts.

Std WK Duties: Integration Engineer III

  • Identifies and seeks opportunities for activities related to team development, employee engagement and achievement of department goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment and systems/technology necessary to complete duties including some details regarding systems supported by other support teams.
  • Serves as an information system consultant within department and across departments. This includes gathering and interpreting business requirements. With limited input from additional sources, is able to formulate and implement integration solutions based on requirements and following IT methodologies, processes and standards.
  • Participates in the ongoing maintenance of interface engines and interfaces. Maintains specifications, requirements, designs, data flows, test scripts and support plans documentation of existing interfaces.
  • Proactively facilitates communication and activities with areas of responsibility, within the department and with solution vendors. Creates relationships built on trust and results with customers.
  • Defines, documents and executes test scripts for assignments to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provides technical leadership on small to medium efforts within the area of scope with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking in issue resolution with limited input from additional resources.
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of the solution(s) supported.
  • Assists in training and mentorship of others.
