Position Description: We are looking for an experienced **Integration Developer / Apigee Developer** who is passionate about cloud technologies, APIs and modern application architectures. Work model: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)
Location: Montreal, Sherbrooke or remote, depending on the project
Your future duties and responsibilities: As an Integration Developer, you will contribute to the design, development and evolution of secure, scalable and cloud-native integration solutions. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will help build modern platforms using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Design, develop and maintain high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
* Build and support cloud-native integration solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
* Design, implement and maintain API gateways using Apigee.
* Develop ETL processes and integration solutions to facilitate data exchange across enterprise systems.
* Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code while participating in code reviews and automated testing.
* Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues when required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Required qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in software development, systems integration or a similar technical role.
* Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript and TypeScript.
* Hands-on experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
* Experience building cloud-native applications using GCP and/or Microsoft Azure.
* Experience working with Apigee or similar API management platforms.
* Good knowledge of Node.js, Docker, Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Nice to have
Experience with one or more of the following technologies is considered an asset:
* React or Angular
* NestJS
* MongoDB, SQL and NoSQL databases
* MuleSoft
* Azure Functions
* Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
* Cloud Run
* Pub/Sub
* CI/CD pipelines
* Experience in retail, e-commerce or large enterprise integration environments
* Bilingualism (English and French)*

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000-$135,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
