POSITION OVERIVEW

This position serves as a Business Systems Analyst on the RRSS Integrated Services - Technology team. Integrated Services supports the business units within RRSS in technology program management for a range of systems, including, but not limited to, point-of-sale, logistics, inventory management, and procure-to-pay solutions. This position will support the technology needs of one or more business units within RRSS.

This position is primarily responsible for preparing business and functional requirements and test plans, and for providing implementation support for both new and existing applications. Interacts with business and technical subject matter experts to support the development and implementation of systems and configurations that optimize business processes and efficiency. The position will facilitate meetings with customers and business owners to gather requirements, document processes, and identify opportunities for improvement. May lead projects of limited to moderate scope, on an as-needed basis. Participates in conducting analyses using a broad range of tools and makes data-driven, customer-experience-focused recommendations for improvement.

Applies business process and analysis concepts and department / unit and location policies and procedures to resolve a variety of business process problems. Works on business process issues of limited to moderate scope where evaluation of processes, procedures and data requires analysis using a variety of factors.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors' degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or an allied field, and two (2) years of experience in administrative analysis or operations research; or an equivalent combination of education and experience perferred.
  • General knowledge of business and process analysis functions. Experience in analyzing information, situations, problems, policies, and procedures and in isolating problems from symptoms and identifying solutions which lead towards a resolution with develop clear and concise reports or recommendations for management.
  • Skills associated with analysis of processes and issues of moderate scope, information flow and architecture. Analytical skills to identify, analyze, and organize processing requirements, documentation, and data. Demonstrated knowledge of data processing principles, practices, and terminology and their application in a complex organization.
  • Experience with software design. Experience developing business and system requirements for systems and applications. Proven experience designing process and system diagrams.
  • Intermediate knowledge of related areas of IT. General understanding of programming techniques and capabilities with the ability to understand the infrastructure of comprehensive integrated systems.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to set project objectives, determine and address potential barriers identify required resources, identify process steps and milestones and adjust action plans to achieve desired outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrates competency and commitment to principles of community.
  • Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze information, situations, problems, policies and procedures and to formulate logical and objective conclusions from fact, situations, data and observations.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and understand complex processes and procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities, and to deal with changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. Demonstrated experience in supporting and troubleshooting system integration points between web applications to enterprise financial system. Ability to recognize errors or malfunctions, identify & analyze production failures and to synthesize effective solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
