About the Role

We are looking for an Integrated Planning Analyst to support planning excellence across NOV Rig Technologies by providing critical analysis and insights that align demand, supply, inventory, and operational performance.

This role serves as a key contributor to the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, helping translate business requirements and operational realities into actionable planning recommendations. You will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Finance teams to optimize inventory, improve forecast accuracy, identify risks, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and driving continuous improvement through data and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Analysis
  • Support monthly SIOP and integrated planning processes
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, supply constraints, and operational performance
  • Monitor and report on key planning metrics including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and backlog
  • Identify risks and opportunities within demand and supply plans and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and planning models to support business decisions

Inventory & Supply Planning
  • Monitor inventory performance and recommend actions to optimize inventory investment while maintaining service levels
  • Analyze excess and slow-moving inventory trends
  • Support safety stock reviews, replenishment strategies, and inventory optimization initiatives
  • Assist with working capital improvement efforts through effective inventory management

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align plans and priorities
  • Facilitate communication regarding forecast changes, supply constraints, and business impacts
  • Support consensus forecasting and planning activities
  • Provide planning insights and recommendations to stakeholders

Data Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain planning data integrity within ERP and planning systems
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reporting to support leadership decision-making
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities
  • Support implementation of planning tools, automation initiatives, and best practices

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, forecasting, analytics, or related disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Experience working with ERP systems and planning tools
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting SIOP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting methodologies
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or energy industry experience
  • APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD)
