Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain insurance rating products within the CGI Ratabase platform

  • Support new product launches, state expansions, and regulatory filing implementations
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Ratabase and policy administration systems, quoting platforms, and third-party data providers
  • Perform unit, system integration, and regression testing for rating changes
  • Create technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment procedures

Location: Dallas, TX It is a hybrid role in Dallas ,TX Job Description 'We are seeking an experienced Ratabase Developer to design configure maintain and enhance insurance rating solutions utilizing CGIs RatabaseRatabase360 platform The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Management Actuarial Underwriting and IT teams to implement rating algorithms product changes regulatory updates and system integrations that support business growth and operational excellence Key Responsibilities Design configure and maintain insurance rating products within the CGI Ratabase platform Develop and implement rating algorithms underwriting rules discounts surcharges and product configurations Collaborate with actuaries and business analysts to translate business requirements into rating solutions Support new product launches state expansions and regulatory filing implementations Develop and maintain integrations between Ratabase and policy administration systems quoting platforms portals and thirdparty data providers Perform unit system integration and regression testing for rating changes Analyze and troubleshoot rating discrepancies production issues and performance concerns Create technical documentation design specifications and deployment procedures Participate in Agile development activities including planning estimation codeconfiguration reviews and releases Ensure compliance with company governance security and audit requirements Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Actuarial Science Mathematics or a related field or equivalent experience 3 years of experience working with CGI Ratabase or similar insurance rating platforms Experience implementing insurance pricing and rating solutions Strong understanding of Property Casualty insurance products Experience with SQL and relational databases Experience with APIbased integrations and web services Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ratabase360 cloud implementations Experience integrating rating engines with policy administration systems Knowledge of insurance regulatory filing processes Familiarity with Agile methodologies Experience supporting Personal Lines Commercial Lines Workers Compensation Auto Homeowners or Specialty products Understanding of actuarial pricing concepts and rate development Technical Skills Required CGI Ratabase Ratabase360 SQL REST APIs Web Services Database design and data analysis Testing and quality assurance Preferred Azure Cloud Policy Administration Systems ETL and data integration tools Version control tools Git Azure DevOps Insurance data modeling Success Factors Strong insurance domain expertise Ability to communicate effectively with actuarial and business teams Detailoriented approach to rating accuracy and compliance Ability to manage multiple product and regulatory initiatives simultaneously Focus on quality performance and continuous improvement' The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 85000 - 96000 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
