Senior Insurance Defense Attorney (Confidential)
Location: Ohio (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of insurance defense litigation matters.
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and practical solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and responsiveness.
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
- Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Ohio or eligibility for admission.
- Minimum of 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing complex litigation matters.
- Excellent writing, advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Business development experience or a portable book of business is preferred but not required.
- Leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills.
