Full Job Description
Job Summary
As an integral part of our team the Instructional Designer is a hands-on role helping to ensure that training development projects are carried out smoothly and effectively from start to finish. This role works alongside project team members as an internal agency to Sales Enablement, Product Managers, and Field Operations. The Instructional designer creates engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances knowledge retention and transfer to our franchises around the world.

Responsibilities and Activities
• Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
• State instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process through the Multivista University
• Create supporting material/media (copy, audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
• Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments
• Consult with learners to ensure accuracy and relevance of content to training
• Develop training strategies to increase user adoption
• Prepare and update training designs and plans
• Prepare, maintain, and update training and instructional materials, reference materials, guides, videos, and other training related documentation
• Work with project delivery team to support the development and implementation of instructional materials
• Maintain project documentation and course folders

Skills, Capabilities, and Education
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as instructional design, educational technology
• Experience in industries providing technical services or products is an asset.
• 3 - 5 years proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Good lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Proficient with a variety of eLearning development systems & tools (i.e., Litmos, Articulate, Adobe Products)
• Proficiency with copywriting, content authoring, publishing, and multimedia development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done
• Working knowledge of project management models

Pay range: 80K - 100K CN, depending on experience
