Your opportunity
- Serve as a key partner in a team-based coverage model for North American institutional clients delivering a high-quality client experience defined by our four pillars: investment excellence, operational excellence, consistency, and partnership.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders, including consultants, custodians, and administrators (some travel may be required to support this)
- Coordinate client meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, preparation of materials, and follow-up on action items.
- Support senior relationship managers, client onboarding, account maintenance, reporting requirements, operational changes, and issue resolution in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate client activity, relationship information, opportunities, risks, follow-up actions, and business-at-risk information within Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Develop a strong understanding of institutional investors and market trends, effectively communicating insights and positioning JHI strategies and products to clients and internal partners.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of client presentations, reporting, investment updates, RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence materials.
- In collaboration with senior relationship managers, contribute to client retention and growth initiatives by identifying opportunities, supporting relationship and defense plans, and partnering with investment, sales, and product specialists.
- Support the introduction of appropriate investment content, specialists, and capabilities without compromising the priority of retention and the existing client experience.
- Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and the use of technology and AI-enabled solutions.
- Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
- Experience in institutional asset management, relationship management, client service, investment operations, consultant relations, or a related investment-focused environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, support senior colleagues, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office or similar productivity platforms.
- Foundational understanding of financial markets, investment products, or institutional investment processes.
Nice to have skills
- CFA designation, progress toward the CFA designation, or a willingness to pursue the credential.
- Experience in assisting, or desire to assist, in business development opportunities within investment management or financial services.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar client relationship management platforms.
- Exposure to client reporting, RFP/RFI support, investment presentations, or due diligence processes.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This position will be open through October 15, 2026.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
