Job Description:

The Install Qualification Operation Specialist is responsible for driving key milestones enabling tool installation, readiness, and qualification within Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS). The role is responsible for equipment install execution from pre-design through design finish and set to SL2 signoff, ensuring safe delivery, accurate scope definition, efficient construction, and prompt vendor qualification. This position requires five days per week onsite presence and close coordination with manufacturing, design, construction, OEMs, trade contractors, and supplier partners.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Safety and Compliance
• Champion Intel's Culture of Caring and ensure safe behaviors across design and construction activities.
• Enforce cleanroom, IP protection, and site protocols to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and agency audits.

Install and Qualification Execution
• Own key tool install milestones including set, rigging, placement, hook up, energization, and qual.
• Support troubleshooting for Supplier Qual and Intel Qual to quickly resolve issues.
• Drive micro schedule and pull plan development to support tool install milestones.
• Manage decoupled construction paths SET/SL2 to accelerate readiness.
• Coordinate testing and facility readiness (LSS, eFIT, TAB, networking, ESOPN).

Design and Scope Alignment
• Load complete tool install scope in DAC prior to design engagement.
• Participate in cross functional design reviews with CIT, TICE, Layout, OEMs, and module teams.
• Validate OEM data and ensure alignment with Intel standards (SEED/EDS/UDS).
• Support LSP creation, routing validation, POC assignments, and space management.
• Reduce changes by minimizing DCNs, DCRs, and late-stage modifications.

Execution Planning and Stakeholder Coordination
• Lead multi supplier coordination meetings and execution planning sessions.
• Translate technical/business requirements into actionable plans and schedules.
• Forecast equipment and resource needs.
• Ensure readiness and prompt delivery of tools, prefac kits, globals, and parts.
• Coordinate equipment decon and demo activities.

Supplier and Vendor Management
• Manage OEMs and third-party vendors to achieve best-in-class qual durations.
• Drive early vendor enablement and facility readiness using ESOPN. (Equipment sign- off per need).
• Ensure clean handoff from construction completion to vendor qual finish.
• Manage contracts, KPIs, and supplier scorecards in partnership with Procurement.

Operations and Continuous Improvement
• Oversee contractor and supplier activities in accordance with SLAs.
• Monitor site operational budget and maximize efficiency.
• Apply Lean principles to eliminate waste, reduce install durations, and improve quality.
• Document and share lessons learned across modules and sites.
• Influence tool install methods through innovation and best-known methods (BKMs).

In addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Project management skills (planning, scheduling, risk mitigation).
• Adaptability in fast paced, changing environments.
• Organizational discipline and time management.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least one of the following:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or related field and 3+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience. OR
• Associate's Degree related to semiconductor manufacturing and 5+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience. OR
• 7+ years of experience in Project Management, as Equipment/Engineering Tool Owner, or equivalent installation/qualification/demo/maintenance technician experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom/construction environment.
• Ability to navigate construction areas when needed.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with medium or large-scale construction or tool install programs.
• Knowledge of Intel systems: EMS, SIRFIS, Fuzion, QUEST, IMCS, Capacity Planning, SLS, 6D.
• Demo experience (6D trained and certified).
• Experience with station controller setup / automation.
• Panel shutdowns, FPOCs, eFITs.
• Tool crating/de crating, AIO.
• Tool install/qual specifications and maintenance.
• Managing daily third party supplier operation.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $86,300.00-169,860.00 USD
