The job duties are as follows:
  1. Customer Management
    • End-to-end ownership of the lead-to-order process for all US customers.
    • Onboard new customers according the Know Your Customer procedure.
    • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and contract terms.
    • Recommend products based on customer needs and interests and advise customers on the use of products or services.
    • Act as the primary contact for customer queries, complaints, technical information, and non-order-related requests.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and timely responses.
    • Handle sample requests, audits, and ensure compliance with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
    • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
    • Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from existing clients, and participation in external events such as trade shows and conferences.
  1. Operational Excellence
    • Optimize sampling processes to enhance service levels.
    • Apply product allocation strategies during shortages as per GCSM guidelines.
    • Prepare agent commissions and rebate payments.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer communications, and contract details.
    • Verify customer credit information and ensure required documentation is complete.
  1. Marketing Support and Trade Show Coordination
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotional activities and campaigns.
    • Coordinate trade show arrangements, including organizing promotional goodies, marketing collaterals, and ensuring timely membership payments.
    • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
    • Distribute promotional literature or product samples to customers and event participants.
  1. Forecasting and Market Insight
    • Proactively share market insights to ensure reliable demand planning and accurate forecasts up to 24 months.
    • Collaborate with Sales Managers to monitor debtor management and consumption trends.
    • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, and trends to support strategic decision-making.
  1. Commercial and Technical Support
    • Provide technical information and support for product validation and approvals.
    • Prepare and execute customer agreements.
    • Prepare sales contracts, quotations, and order forms, including estimating prices, delivery timelines, warranty terms, and credit arrangements.
    • Develop proposals and supporting materials for prospective and existing customers.
  1. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
    • Actively support local organization setup, onboarding new team members, and sharing best practices.
    • Contribute to global and local team initiatives, including health and safety programs.
    • Provide commercial support to the Sales Managers (e.g. customer analytics & performance KPIs - order coverage, order pattern).
    • Update and apply relevant product and market knowledge to continuously improve customer support and sales effectiveness.

This position does not supervise subordinate employees.

This position is full-time, and applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce or related field.

The salary for this position is $105,394 per year.
