Inside Sales Representative - Royal Canin

Preferred Locations: Atlanta, GA / Jacksonville, FL / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC / Philadelphia, PA / Washington DC

Other Locations Considered: St. Louis, MO or Eastern Time Zone

The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for execution of the Therapeutic BU strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI's by delivering account specific sales goals. This is achieved by proactively engaging remotely assigned Veterinary Clinics and leveraging CRM clinic data to promote, educate and build brand equity within assigned accounts. This role virtually sells to remote customers.

  • Success in previous roles including creatively finding opportunities or solving problems to drive advocacy.
  • Uses analytics and insights to enhance decision-making and tactical execution

  • Ability to travel 10% for training


What would be your key responsibilities?
  • Meet overall sales objectives & KPI's. Demonstrate success in improving the health of your business
  • Utilize CRM to identify and translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan; maintain profitability and growth of clinics within assigned area
  • Launch new product and service offerings
  • Build effective relationships across all targeted clinics through consultative selling
  • Continually acquire new product knowledge and sales skills by utilizing internal resources and staying current with company provided tools (classroom training, E-learning modules etc)
  • Keep current on the competition and their products, interpret how this is relevant for your clinics and the company
  • Build effective relationships with and service all targeted hospitals / personnel to ensure you maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
  • Develop and execute an effective Territory Business Plan
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 69,370.00 - USD 95,384.00
