Profile

We are recruiting an outstanding inpatient psychiatrist to join our University Hospital Psychiatry team. This position will require direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of psychiatry residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees. Training in interventional psychiatry (ECT, ketamine-based therapies, and TMS) is a plus but not required.

Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified or board eligible in General Psychiatry. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in pursuing an academic career. Academic experience and a strong track record of clinical teaching is a plus.
