Hospital: Ascension St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital

Department: Pharmacy Service

Schedule: Full time, rotating shifts days and evenings with weekend and holiday rotations.

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Collaborate with providers to offer clinical recommendations for patient medication therapies.
  • Clinically review, assess, and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations and the medication use process, including orde r verification, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and dispensing.
  • Provide drug information and education to patients as needed.
  • Maintain a high-reliability culture by critically evaluating medication processes for opportunities, keeping patient safety at the forefront of all decision-making.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Indiana Board Of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • PGY1 residency completion and/or prior hospital experience is strongly preferred
