Full Job Description
The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABIM or ABFM certification and Geriatric Medicine certification/eligibility is required.
Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient care on a geriatric co-management/consultation service and Acute Care of the Elders Unit.
There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
