The Role

Global Sales Reporting equips the sales organization with the tools, data, and resources necessary to drive business performance. The team ensures efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in planning, operations, and reporting.

As an Innovation Lead, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and innovation across our team. You will quickly gain a deep understanding of business operations and leverage technology, analytics, and process optimization to enhance systems, reporting, and decision-making.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Business Operations & Process Improvement

  • Understand complex business operations and identify opportunities for optimization through demonstration of solid understanding of the processes and relevant operations.

  • Research and apply industry best practices and benchmarks to maintain competitiveness and innovation.

  • Identify and implement business process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Develop, maintain, and update desk procedures and business process documentation.

  • Support special assignments and initiatives as needed.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support analytics and reporting needs.

  • Develop insightful and actionable Power BI dashboards and reports and present out.

  • Utilize Python to automate data processing, report generation, and business workflows.

  • Conduct data reconciliations during data loading, investigating and resolving anomalies.

  • Explore and deploy AI tools to enhance business processes and decision-making.

  • Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in data analytics and AI.

AI Enablement & Innovation

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that improve sales operations, dealer systems, reporting accuracy, and decision-making efficiency.

  • Translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions, including automation, natural language querying, anomaly detection, predictive insights, and workflow optimization.

  • Partner with IT, Product, Data, and business stakeholders to define AI requirements, success measures, adoption plans, and operational support needs.

  • Promote responsible AI practices by supporting data quality, transparency, explainability, privacy, security, and appropriate human oversight in AI-enabled processes.

  • Monitor AI solution performance, adoption, and business value, and recommend refinements to improve accuracy, usability, and measurable outcomes.

  • Build awareness of emerging AI capabilities and coach business partners on practical ways to apply AI in daily operations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Product Managers, Operations Managers, and IT Development teams to resolve system, data, and process issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation initiatives.

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to requests for information adapting style of communication to different audiences.

  • Develop, maintain, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and development projects.

Training & Support

  • Deliver training to end users and IT Application Support staff as needed.

  • Process access requests promptly and accurately.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Data Science, or another STEM discipline/related field. We will also consider equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years in operations, sales, IT, or related fast paced environments.

  • 5+ years’ experience in fast-paced environments with strong analytical, presentation, and insight creation skills.

  • 5+ years’ experience in SQL query writing and data analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and be a curious self-starter.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to improvement opportunities.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

  • High comfort with delivering concise and effective presentations with audiences of all levels, technical and non-technical.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paidin accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York,Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The expected base compensation for this role is ($105,600.00 - $140,700.00) USD Annually. The actual basesalary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individualperformance.

This role is based remotely, but if the selected candidate lives within a specific mile radius of a GM hub, they will be expected to report to the location three times a week {or other frequency dictated by your manager}.
