About the role

The Innovation Insights Lead - Wellness is responsible for owning the end-to-end innovation learning agenda from early concept to launch, turning insights into strategic fuel for innovation, and driving a more consumer-centric, agile, and high-confidence innovation model across the US Wellness portfolio (VMS and Digestive Health). As the Innovation Insights Lead - Wellness you will assess and mitigate risks to ensure solutions are consumer-relevant and market-ready. You will also partner closely with Innovation teams to optimize products (packs, claims, and concepts) before launch and maximize likelihood of conversion and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated Innovation Insights function with ownership of end-to-end learning.
  • Shape innovation pipelines, priorities, and whitespace opportunities with senior stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging consumer needs, cultural shifts, and category trends to unlock future growth.
  • Embed consistent, scalable ways of working to improve consumer centricity, speed, and efficiency.
  • Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to inform key decisions.
  • Provide strategic leadership and shape culture in partnership with the General Manager, combining business leadership with a regional perspective to align priorities, strengthen collaboration, and drive high performance across markets.
  • Integrate multiple data sources into a holistic consumer view.
  • Drive higher-confidence decisions and stronger innovation success rates.
  • Improve forecast accuracy and commercial outcomes.
  • Identify risks and course-correct quickly across the portfolio.
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and tools.
  • Drive consistency and efficiency across partners and methods.
  • Advance agile and next-generation insights approaches (including AI-based methodologies) to enhance speed, precision, predictability and impact.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Serve as a voice of the consumer in senior forums.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive aligned, insight-led decisions.
  • Partner with Global CBIA on best practices and provide input on research results.
  • Optimize insights investment and ensure compliance with all standards.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 years of experience in insights, innovation, strategy, or analytics within CPG, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or adjacent industries.
  • Proven leadership of innovation insights or learning agendas.
  • Strong experience influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise with both qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Team leadership and capability building experience.

  • Advanced Degree (Master's of PhD).
  • Strategic and business-driven mindset with demonstrated commercial impact.
  • Demonstrates a forward-looking, proactive mindset, anticipating business needs and identifying opportunities before they surface.

Location: This is a hybrid-based position in Warren, NJ, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week.

The Salary Range for this role is $148,648 - $204,391 USD + an 18% target bonus.
