Le groupe d'Opérabilité Moteur est responsable des différents aspects de l'opérabilité des moteurs tels que le démarrage, l'accélération et décélération (comportement dynamique), la simulation transitoire, les interfaces avec l'avion/l'hélicoptère, ainsi que les spécifications d'opérabilité pour les systèmes de contrôle électronique (FADEC) et hydromécanique. Nos responsabilités s'étendent de la conception préliminaire jusqu'au support des moteurs en service.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Contribuer à la définition des sous-systèmes moteurs comme par exemple le système de contrôle.
  • Générer des simulations transitoires correspondant à des manœuvres sur l'avion/l'hélicoptère.
  • Établir les procédures d'essais moteur à être exécutées sur banc d'essai ou sur l'appareil client et suivre les essais.
  • Analyser les résultats des essais, les comparer aux résultats des outils de simulation et apporter les recommandations et correctifs s'il y a lieu.
  • Créer les rapports de certification d'opérabilité; Réviser et coordonner les sections pertinentes des différents documents (Engineering Instructions, Installation Manual, Maintenance Manual, etc)
  • S'assurer de documenter de façon traçable les analyses et résultats.
  • Contribuer à mettre en place et utiliser les meilleures pratiques de travail; utiliser systématiquement les outils et principes CORE et contribuer à améliorer les méthodes, outils et procédés de la discipline d'opérabilité.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat en Ingénierie avec minimum 3 à 7 ans d'expérience ou maîtrise en Ingénierie avec minimum 2 à 5 ans d'expérience un atout.
  • Le candidat doit avoir de bonnes habilitées en communication (écrite et orale). Anglais essentiel, bilinguisme (français) un atout.
  • Habileté à travailler sur plusieurs tâches en parallèle et à travailler avec des requis/priorités qui évoluent/changent fréquemment.
  • Habilité à opérer efficacement en équipe (IPT) et à éventuellement gérer des équipes
  • Expérience en opérabilité, aérodynamique des compresseurs, performance, contrôles, développement un atout.
  • Connaissance de SCOAPP, Unigraph, Matlab/Simulink, PWCVibs, MS Excel (incluant VBA macros), EnoviaV6/PLM un atout
  • Du temps supplémentaire et du support d'essais sur l'horaire de soir ou de fin de semaine peuvent être requis occasionnellement.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Contribute to engine sub-system definition like the controls system.
  • Generate transient simulation corresponding to aircraft maneuvers.
  • Establish test procedures to be performed on engine as well as supporting the tests themselves.
  • Analyze the test results and compare to the simulation results and provide recommendations as applicable.
  • Authors appropriate engine certification reports; Reviews and coordinates appropriate input into the engine Installation Manual, Maintenance Manual, Engineering Instructions, etc
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and traceability of relevant analysis and results.
  • Works with the disciplines to establish appropriate best practices and analysis procedures; actively leverages CORE tools and principles to assist in the continuous improvement of the Operability Group' methods, tools and processes


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum 3-7years of experience or master's degree in engineering with minimum 2-5 years of experience an asset.
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English essential, French an asset).
  • Proficiency at handling several analytical tasks concurrently and working with quickly evolving requirements and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate well in teams and eventually lead teams.
  • Experience in operability, compressor aerodynamics, performance, controls or development/test an asset
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Matlab/Simulink or other), MS Excel (VBA macros), EnoviaV6/PLM are assets
  • Overtime and support on second shift or week-end shift required occasionally.
