Le candidat recherché est un ingénieur électrique senior. Il sera appelé à travailler au sein d' une équipe multidisciplinaire composée d'ingénieurs électriques/mécanique, techniciens et dessinateurs techniques. L'objectif étant de réaliser des projets attachés au développement de nouveaux systèmes électriques et automatisés de bancs d'essais destinés à développer de nouveaux programmes turbogénérateurs.

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Dirige des activités de recherche, développement, conception et validation d'équipement ou de systèmes électriques en communiquant avec les parties prenantes afin de s'assurer que les objectifs de l'entreprise, les requis et les spécifications soient rencontrés.
  • Représente l'organisation lors des rencontres, comités, conférences et travaux d'équipe interdisciplinaire pour présenter, expliquer ou défendre les recommandations, trouvailles, ou autre négociations ou ententes.
  • Donne des formations techniques aux ingénieurs juniors et autres corps de métier et
  • S'assure que les méthodes standards sont suivis et que la qualité du travail est rencontrée.
  • Analyse les requis techniques, la capacité, les coûts et les besoins du client pour déterminer la faisabilité du projet.
  • Conçoit des composantes, des logiciels, des produits ou des systèmes électriques et/ou automatisés.
  • Produit une cédule d'implémentation et planifie les budgets des projets pour les livrer selon les temps et les coûts établis avec le client.
  • Dirige et coordonne les activités de fabrication, construction, installation, maintenance, opération ou de modification de systèmes ou des équipements électriques et automatisés .
  • Supervise les activités d'implémentation de nouvelles technologies et s'assure de leur intégration dans tous les systèmes.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Baccalauréat en génie électrique ou automatisation
  • Être membre en règle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum 10 ans d'expérience dans un emploi pertinent pour ce poste
  • Connaissance en programmation PLC (Allen Bradley)
  • Connaissance en programmation IHM (Wonderware Intouch)
  • Connaissance en base de données et réseautique industrielle
  • Connaissance en système de mesure d'instrumentation
  • Connaissance du code électrique du bâtiment
  • Bilingue (Français/Anglais)
  • Bon sens de l'écoute et de la communication

Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Test Facilities Specialist

Why Join The Team?

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team composed of electrical and mechanical engineers, technicians, and technical designers.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of new electrical and automated test cell systems supporting the development of new turbogenerator programs. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines to deliver advanced testing solutions.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Lead the research, development, design, and validation of electrical equipment and systems while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business objectives, requirements, and technical specifications are achieved.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, committees, conferences, and cross-functional team activities to present, explain, and defend technical recommendations, findings, negotiations, and agreements.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and other technical professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with established engineering standards, methods, and quality requirements.
  • Analyze technical requirements, capacity, costs, and customer needs to determine project feasibility.
  • Design electrical and/or automated components, software, products, and systems.
  • Develop implementation schedules and manage project budgets to ensure delivery within agreed timelines and costs.
  • Lead and coordinate the manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, operation, and modification of electrical and automated systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure their successful integration across systems.


What do you need to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley).
  • Experience programming HMIs (Wonderware InTouch).
  • Knowledge of databases and industrial networking.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement systems.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code for buildings.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.


This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
