  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, calculation notes, and design documents.
  • Engage in feasibility studies and detailed studies for hydraulic and hydropower structures.
  • Conduct numerical analyses and flow modeling (1D, 2D, and possibly 3D depending on projects).
  • Participate in dam safety studies, transient flow analyses, and energy production simulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality technical solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other technical deliverables.
  • Perform additional duties in support of projects.

Description du poste

AECOM est actuellement à la recherche d'un(e) Ingénieur(e) en hydraulique pour un poste à temps plein dans de notre groupe Eau Énergie.

Le ou la titulaire du poste contribuera à des projets de centrales hydroélectriques, de centrales à réserve pompée, de barrages et d'ouvrages hydrauliques. Il ou elle pourra également être appelé(e) à participer à d'autres projets, notamment en infrastructures portuaires, ouvrages d'art et environnement.

Sous la supervision d'ingénieurs d'expérience, les principales responsabilités incluent notamment :
  • Participer à la réalisation d'études hydrauliques et hydrologiques pour divers projets;
  • Contribuer à la préparation de rapports techniques, de notes de calcul et de documents de conception;
  • Participer aux études de faisabilité, d'avant-projet et aux études détaillées pour des ouvrages hydrauliques et hydroélectriques;
  • Réaliser des analyses et des modélisations numériques des écoulements (1D, 2D et, selon les projets, 3D);
  • Participer aux études de sécurité des barrages, aux analyses d'écoulement transitoire et aux simulations de production énergétique;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes multidisciplinaires afin de livrer des solutions techniques de qualité;
  • Participer à la préparation des plans, devis et autres livrables techniques;
  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes en soutien aux projets.


Qualifications

Qualifications requises
  • Baccalauréat en génie civil avec spécialisation en ressources hydriques ou en hydraulique;
  • Membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) ou admissible à le devenir rapidement;
  • Minimum de 4 années d'expérience en hydraulique ou en ressources hydriques;
  • Connaissance des logiciels de la famille HEC (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS ou équivalents);
  • Bonnes aptitudes en rédaction de rapports techniques;
  • Excellente maîtrise du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit;
  • Bonne maîtrise de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit pour participer à des projets à l'extérieur du Québec;
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.

Qualifications souhaitables
  • Expérience en projets de barrages ou d'aménagements hydroélectriques;
  • Connaissance des logiciels Flow-3D, Simsen ou d'autres outils de modélisation hydraulique;
  • Permis de conduire valide.
