Full Job Description
Nous recherchons un ou une ingénieur(e) de projet dynamique pour joindre notre équipe d'ingénierie de projet à l'Ile-des-Sœurs, Montréal (en mode hybride). Le ou la titulaire aura la responsabilité de préparer, céduler, coordonner et monitorer les projets assignés. La personne retenue travaillera sur divers projets impliquant une étroite collaboration avec de nombreux départements tels que les opérations, la maintenance, le contrôle de la qualité, la santé et la sécurité, la logistique, etc. Le travail sera à la fois dans les usines et au bureau corporatif. **Activités principales** - Définir les besoins et les exigences des clients et les aider à la justification des projets. - Préparer les spécifications et l'étendue des travaux. - Gérer les achats d'équipement. Rencontrer les fournisseurs, analyser les propositions de projets et faire des recommandations sur le choix de solutions. - Planifier et gérer les installations et les phases de mise en service des usines tout en s'assurant que les besoins d'affaires et les standards de sécurité sont observés. - Assurer la qualité, la sécurité et la conformité du travail et des équipements avant et après la livraison et l'installation. - Suivre les budgets alloués aux projets. - Fournir toutes les informations recueillies au client à la fin des projets (garanties, dessins, plans d'aménagement d'usine mis à jour). - Assister à l'amélioration continue des méthodes du Département de l'ingénierie de projet. **Connaissances et compétences nécessaires** **Compétences techniques :** - 3 à 7 ans d'expérience en ingénierie, dans un milieu manufacturier ou industriel. - Baccalauréat en génie mécanique. - Membre de l'ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. - Bilingue en Français et Anglais - Expérience avec Autocad - Être disponible pour voyager en Amérique du Nord environ 30% du temps. - Détenir un permis de conduire valide au Québec ou en Ontario. - Connaissances générales en mécanique, pneumatique et hydraulique. - La connaissance des équipements d'extrusion et de moulage de plastique serait un atout. - Excellentes aptitudes en communication. **Aptitudes personnelles :** - Rigueur et sens de l'organisation personnelle. - Habiletés de gestion et de planification d'équipes internes et externes. - Capacité d'apprentissage; Évoluer dans un milieu technologique changeant. - Communicateur(trice) habile démontrant un penchant marqué pour le travail d'équipe. - Très motivé(e), polyvalent(e) et dévoué(e). - Capacité à travailler de manière autonome, avec de fortes compétences en matière de motivation personnelle. - Excellentes compétences en gestion de la relation client. We are currently looking for a dynamic project engineer to join our project engineering team at our Nun's Island, Verdun office **on a hybrid work model**. The project engineer will be preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects. The selected candidate will work on various projects involving close collaboration with many departments such as operations, maintenance, quality control, health and safety, logistics, etc. **The work will be in both the plants and the corporate office at Nun's Island, Montreal.** **Principal Responsibilities** - Define needs and requirements of the clients and help in justifying projects. - Prepare specifications and scope of work. - Manage equipment purchases. Meet with suppliers, analyze proposals, and make recommendations on the solution choices. - Plan and manage the installation and commissioning phases in our plants, while insuring that the corporate health and safety standards are observed. - Ensure the quality, safety and conformity of work and equipment, before and after delivery and installation. - Follow the financial budget of the projects. - Provide close out information to the client at the end of the project (warranty, drawings, updates plant layout). - Assist in the continuous improvement of the methods of the Project Engineering Department. **Qualifications & experience** **Technical Skills:** - 3-7 years of experience in engineering, in a manufacturing or industrial environments. - Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. - Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec). - Experience in Project Management - Experience in new equipment installation / commissioning - Experience with Autocad is a must - Be available to travel within North America approximately 30% of the time. - Hold a valid driver's license in Quebec. - Knowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment would be an asset. - Highly motivated, versatile and dedicated. - Ability to work independently, with strong skills in personal motivation. - Excellent skills in customer relationship management. - Rigor and strong organizational skills. - Capacity to learn in a changing and technological environment. - Skilled communicator, with strong teamwork values. - General knowledge of mechanical concepts, pneumatics and hydraulics.
