  • Collaborate with SAP Business Process Owner to manage changes impacting Finance systems.

Nous avons présentement une opportunité en tant que Gestionnaire, systèmes financiers. Ce rôle est basé à notre bureau de Verdun et relève de Directeur de Systèmes de finances.

Description du poste

Le/la gestionnaire sera responsable de la maintenance courante des principaux systèmes utilisés par le service des finances; de tout développement apporté à ces systèmes; ainsi que de la formation et du soutien des utilisateurs du service des finances afin qu'ils puissent utiliser efficacement ces systèmes. Le gestionnaire dirigera une équipe de quatre employés actuellement affectés à ces fonctions.

Le/la gestionnaire et son équipe représenteront également le service des finances dans le cadre de projets organisationnels spéciaux et joueront un rôle clé dans tout projet d'acquisition, de réorganisation, d'intégration ou de développement de systèmes.

Activités principales

1. Exploitation des systèmes financiers

Assurer la stabilité, le rapprochement, l'intégration, la disponibilité et la performance continues de nos principales applications financières
  • Nos systèmes ERP (SAP S4 Hanna et Infoflo)
  • IBM Cognos TM1
  • IBM Cognos Controller
  • CapexPlan
  • Flowpex
  • Entrepôt de données et cubes SQL


2. Gouvernance des données de référence et des données organisationnelles
  • Assurer l'exécution et la coordination de la mise à jour des données de référence financières et de la structure organisationnelle dans toutes les applications financières, en garantissant la cohérence, l'exhaustivité et l'harmonisation entre les systèmes.
  • Mettre en place des contrôles pour garantir l'intégrité et la cohérence des données.


3. Harmonisation et rapprochement intersystèmes
  • Veiller à ce que les structures des systèmes financiers, les données de référence et les métadonnées restent synchronisées entre les applications financières.
  • Mettre en place des contrôles de rapprochement entre les applications financières.
  • Analyser et résoudre les incohérences dans les données des systèmes.
  • Coordonner la validation périodique des hiérarchies organisationnelles et des structures de rapport.
  • Assurer l'harmonisation des dimensions de planification, de production de rapports, de consolidation et de l'ERP.


4. Collaboration avec l'équipe SAP BPO et l'équipe BI et rapports
  • Collaborer avec le responsable des processus d'affaires SAP de la finance pour évaluer et mettre en œuvre les changements liés aux processus financiers, à l'organisation et aux données de référence qui ont une incidence sur les systèmes financiers.
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe BI et rapports pour appuyer les initiatives de rapports et s'assurer que les structures de données financières répondent adéquatement aux exigences en matière d'analyse et de rapports.


5. Soutien aux projets et à la transformation
  • Diriger les activités liées aux systèmes financiers dans le cadre d'acquisitions, d'intégrations d'entreprises, de restructurations organisationnelles et de projets technologiques financiers.
  • Coordonner les activités d'intégration des systèmes financiers.
  • Appuyer les initiatives de transformation financière


Connaissances et compétences nécessaires
  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance, en systèmes d'information ou dans un domaine connexe; le titre de CPA est un atout.
  • Au moins 10 ans d'expérience progressive dans les domaines de la finance, des systèmes financiers, du soutien aux progiciels de gestion intégrée (PGI) ou des technologies financières.
  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en leadership dans la gestion d'équipes et d'initiatives interfonctionnelles.
  • Solides connaissances des normes IFRS, de la présentation de l'information financière, de la consolidation, de la planification et des processus financiers.
  • Expérience dans le soutien d'applications financières, notamment les systèmes ERP (de préférence SAP), ainsi que les solutions de consolidation, de planification et de production de rapports (une expérience avec IBM Cognos Controller et TM1 serait un atout).
  • Expérience en gestion des données de référence financières et des structures organisationnelles dans plusieurs systèmes.
  • Expérience en matière d'assurance de la cohérence et du rapprochement des données entre les plateformes d'ERP, de reporting, de planification et de consolidation.
  • Expérience de travail au sein d'une grande organisation matricielle soutenant plusieurs unités d'affaires.

We currently have an exciting opportunityas Manager-Finance Systems.
This role is based in our IDS Office in Montreal, and reports to the Director Finance Systems.

Job Summary
The manager will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of key systems used by the Finance department; any development made to these systems and train/support the Finance users so that they can efficiently use these systems. The manager will manage a team of 4 employees currently assigned to these functions.

The manager and his team will also be representing the Finance department in special organization projects and is a key player in any acquisition, reorganization and system integration or development project.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Financial Systems Operations

Ensure the ongoing stability, reconciliation, integration, availability, and performance of our main Finance applications

  • Our ERP systems (SAP S4 Hanna and Infoflo)
  • IBM Cognos TM1
  • IBM Cognos Controller
  • CapexPlan
  • Flowpex
  • Data Warehouse and SQL cubes


2. Master Data and Organizational Data Governance

  • Own the execution and coordination of Finance master data and organizational structure maintenance across all Finance applications, ensuring consistency, completeness, and alignment between systems.
  • Establish controls to ensure data integrity and consistency.


3. Cross-System Alignment and Reconciliation
  • Ensure financial system structures, master data, and metadata remain synchronized across Finance applications.
  • Develop reconciliation controls between Finance applications.
  • Investigate and resolve system data inconsistencies
  • Coordinate periodic validation of organizational hierarchies and reporting structures.
  • Ensure alignment of planning, reporting, consolidation, and ERP dimensions.


4. Partnership with SAP BPO and BI & Reporting Team
  • Partner with the Finance SAP Business Process Owner to evaluate and implement Finance process, organizational, and master data changes impacting Finance systems.
  • Collaborate with the BI & Reporting team to support reporting initiatives and ensure Finance data structures adequately support analytical and reporting requirements.


5. Project and Transformation Support
  • Lead Finance Systems activities for acquisitions, business integrations, organizational restructurings, and Finance technology projects.
  • Coordinate Finance systems integration activities.
  • Support Finance transformation initiatives


Qualifications & experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Finance Systems, ERP support, or Finance technology functions.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, consolidation, planning, and Finance processes.

  • Experience supporting Finance applications including ERP systems (SAP preferred), consolidation, planning, and reporting solutions (IBM-Cognos Controller and TM1 would be an asset).
  • Experience managing financial master data and organizational structures across multiple systems.
  • Experience ensuring consistency and reconciliation of data across ERP, reporting, planning, and consolidation platforms.
  • Experience working within a large, matrix organization supporting multiple business units.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, reorganizations, and Finance transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of data warehousing, Finance data architecture, and system integrations.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and present recommendations to senior leadership.
