Position Summary
The Infrastructure Sales Manager is responsible for leading a regional sales team focused on driving profitable growth across Chemelex's Infrastructure portfolio, including Commercial and Residential markets. This role provides strategic leadership, coaching, and performance management while partnering with cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives, strengthen channel relationships, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate combines strong commercial leadership with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Infrastructure Sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives across assigned Infrastructure product lines serving Commercial and Residential markets.
- Own regional sales performance by driving pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and execution against key business objectives.
- Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to execute category growth strategies and identify opportunities for new product introductions and market expansion.
- Drive Salesforce CRM excellence by promoting adoption, pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and sales enablement across the team.
- Serve as the primary regional contact for Chemelex manufacturer representatives, distributors, and channel partners, strengthening relationships and expanding market opportunities.
- Provide timely market intelligence, competitive insights, and financial forecasts that support business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
- Travel up to 50% as required to support customers, channel partners, and the sales organization.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- 8+ years of sales experience, including previous leadership or people management experience.
- Experience selling through electrical distribution or the electrical channel is preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading sales teams to achieve ambitious revenue and profitability goals.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, manufacturer representatives, and cross-functional partners.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including driving user adoption, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales enablement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented leader with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to support business objectives.
