Required Experience:
8+ years of experience in project/program management, with at least 5+ years leading complex technology, infrastructure, or enterprise-level initiatives.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications:
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or similar Agile certification is a plus.

Position Summary:
The Senior Program Manager / PMO Lead will support the planning, governance, execution, reporting, and oversight of complex technology programs. This role will work closely with workstream leads, project managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and executive leadership to ensure program objectives, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and deliverables are effectively managed.

The ideal candidate has strong PMO experience, a solid understanding of Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile methodologies, and the ability to manage highly complex initiatives within a large, matrixed, and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and maintain the program-level operating model, including governance processes, workstream charters, program plans, roles and responsibilities, and resource plans.

Facilitate planning meetings with stakeholders to review project plans, resource needs, budget estimates, milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Lead meetings and workshops to identify project accomplishments, challenges, risks, issues, and action items.

Gather status updates from Workstream Leads and Project Managers and prepare draft program status reports for leadership review.

Escalate program updates, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to leadership as needed.

Maintain program documentation, including risk logs, issue logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, resource plans, budget tracking, and benefit realization updates.

Prepare central PMO tracking updates in tools such as Clarity, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.

Develop materials that communicate program health, key decisions, action items, risks, issues, milestones, and dependencies to governing bodies, including Steering Committees, Executive Management Committees, and other key stakeholders.

Assist with the design and improvement of status reporting dashboards, executive summaries, and program reporting templates.

Create, support, and manage centralized reporting processes, including Bedrock reporting and other PMO reporting requirements.

Manage intake, tracking, reporting, and governance of program change control processes.

Manage intake, tracking, and reporting of program dependency management processes.

Support review and reporting of program budgets, forecasts, financials, and benefit realization.

Draft, update, and maintain PMO procedures, standards, templates, and governance documentation.

Coordinate program communications across business, technology, PMO, risk, and leadership stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to enterprise project standards, PMI-based project management practices, IT controls, risk requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.

Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO roles.

5+ years of experience leading complex infrastructure, technology, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

Experience working within a Program Management Office, Portfolio Management Office, or enterprise PMO environment.

Strong experience leading cross-functional teams through highly complex initiatives of significant scope, scale, risk, and visibility.

Strong knowledge of project/program management methodologies, including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile.

Experience applying corporate project management standards, PMI practices, IT controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to gather information from multiple sources, analyze complex issues, and simplify information for leadership and stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, workstreams, and deliverables.

Experience using PPM and project tracking tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Skills:
Experience working in a large financial services firm or another highly regulated industry.

Experience leading or supporting application development initiatives.

Experience supporting executive-level reporting, governance meetings, steering committees, or enterprise transformation programs.
