Qualifications

• 7+ years in Network Operations within a large enterprise, ideally in the utility or energy sector.
• Advanced understanding of network communications technologies with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong knowledge of IPAM-DDI solutions and network security practices.
• Experience configuring and supporting hardware like routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Splunk and Solarwinds.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, install, and maintain firewalls including Cisco ASA and Fortigate.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for 24x7 support.
• Develop and implement network incident resolutions and vulnerability remediations.
• Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for network operations.
• Prepare cost estimates and technical documentation including procedures and reports.
• Review budgeting and approval processes for annual and project planning.
• Train and mentor team members, providing work direction as needed.
