As an Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise technology, employee platforms team, youapply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Job responsibilities

  • Leverage your deep technical knowledge and proven problem-solving skills to tackle projects of large scope, making a significant impact on our users27 experience and the organization as a whole.

  • Lead major initiatives involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies, ensuring seamless execution and delivery at scale.

  • Collaborate with other platform teams to design and implement transformative changes that resolve complex issues and modernize our technology processes, driving innovation across the organization.

  • Execute innovative approaches for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of highly complex problems, ensuring robust and effective outcomes.

  • Carefully consider upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical impacts, providing expert guidance on mitigation strategies to safeguard business operations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 5+ years applied experience.

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft products, including Exchange, Exchange Online, Outlook, SharePoint,M365, OneDrive, and Teams.

  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage high-stakes incidents with composure and effectiveness.

  • Advanced knowledge of at least one infrastructure technology and proficiency in scripting languages, especially PowerShell.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds'

  • Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles.

  • Experience supporting applications on cloud infrastructure.
