THE WORK:- You'll plan and support a wide range of IT purchasing needs for the LACCD Bond Program.
- You'll provide strategic recommendations on IT purchasing solutions and best practices.
- You'll coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- You'll ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and LACCD policies and procedures.
- You'll administer the full procurement lifecycle from solicitation development through contract execution.
- You'll manage required Board of Trustees actions related to IT procurements.
- You'll support project management staff with solicitations, approvals, and purchase order issuance.
- You'll conduct contract compliance reviews for IT purchasing activities.
- You'll monitor IT purchasing contracts, solicitations, and purchase orders.
- You'll prepare and deliver status reports on IT procurement activities.
- You'll utilize SAP, Proliance, Trimble Unity Construct, and other internal database systems.
- You'll coordinate with FCCC, DGS, cooperative purchasing organizations, and partner public agencies.
- You'll perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Contracts.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree (4 additional years of experience can be substituted)
- Experience with procurement subject to California Public Contract Codes
- Familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, perpetual)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, SAP, and Adobe Acrobat
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:- Experience with electronic bidding platforms, specifically PlanetBids
- Certificate related to Public Purchasing or Contract Management
- Knowledge of California Higher Education Codes
- Knowledge of California Community College Codes
- Experience with procurement and implementation of an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) at an agency of similar scale to LACCD
$132,000 - $146,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
