Join a forward-thinking team as a Full Stack Software Engineering Lead, spearheading the development of next-generation data analytics and AI-driven solutions for the Air & Commercial Solutions (ACS) Turnkey Program in Orlando, FL. [Responsibilities]
- Lead a cross-functional development team to deliver robust, scalable data analytics and AI platforms.
- Architect and implement secure, compliant solutions incorporating archival, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
- Define and publish APIs to enable seamless integration with front-end clients and third-party services.
- Build and maintain responsive dashboards and data visualizations using React frameworks such as Next.js and Shadcn UI Kit.
- Design, automate, and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for both cloud and air-gapped deployments.
- Integrate third-party services including email/SMS notifications and learning management standards (SCORM, xAPI, CMI5).
- Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
- Document APIs, data models, and deployment procedures for effective cross-team collaboration.
- Use AI tools (Claude, LLMs, Cline AI Plugin) as development accelerators for coding, refactoring, test generation, and design validation.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with relevant supplemental experience.
- 6+ years delivering full stack software solutions on complex, data-intensive programs.
- Strong command of version control and CI/CD practices, preferably using GitLab.
- Demonstrated expertise in design patterns, automated testing, continuous integration, and code quality.
- Solid experience with relational databases, REST APIs, messaging services, and object storage.
- Proven ability to build intuitive, responsive UI/UX dashboards.
[Preferred Skills]
- Hands-on Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban) in cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency with DevOps tools including Ansible, Nexus, GitLab Runner, Harbor.
- Deep experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Shadcn UI Kit, FastAPI.
- Familiarity with Apache Superset/Trino for platform-wide data analytics.
- Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Prior work with Turnkey training or learning architectures.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and deploying solutions in cloud or air-gapped environments.
- Background in integrating email/SMS notifications and learning management standards (SCORM, xAPI, CMI5).
- Strategic vision for designing adaptable AI-augmented platforms.
