Chipton-Ross is seeking an Information Technology Project Manager 4 for a contract opportunity in Pascagoula, MS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • High School diploma and 13 years of experience, Associates degree and 11 years of experience, Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, Master's degree or above and 7 years of experience or a PHD and 5 years of experience.
  • PMP
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within complex organizational structures involving outsourced partners and managed service providers.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical background
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with complex budget management.
  • Experience in shipbuilding or other manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with ease while introducing the right level of structure
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner Premium
  • AI Literacy:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Level 4 IT Project Manager to lead our most complex, high-impact, and large-scale technology initiatives. As a Project Manager at HII, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with cross-functional partners across the company, business stakeholders, IT Management, enterprise resources, managed service providers, and vendors. You will act as a strategic orchestrator to deliver measurable business value. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed plans, managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and communicating progress to all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. This role bridges the gap between technical implementation and business impact-ensuring projects are aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities include: established project management best practices and methodologies aligned with PMI standards, including structured planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to PMO governance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

Full-Time 5/40, workweek.
