Full Job Description
Position Summary

The Manager, Energy Project Development will support Antora's efforts to evaluate, track, and advance energy projects for long duration energy storage (LDES) deployment. This role focuses on project development execution, supporting greenfield projects, co-location and due diligence on acquisition opportunities. They will track development milestones, and coordinate with consultants, developers and internal teams. The Manager will maintain relationships with consultants, renewable developers, and assist in moving new and acquired projects toward deployment readiness under the direction of senior leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support development of new and acquired projects-either directly or through outsourced development support-including site evaluation and acquisition, permitting, and interconnection.
  • Coordinate with internal functional teams, external consultants, engineers, and legal counsel supporting project development activities.
  • Track and manage project development budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Prepare documents and presentation materials for leadership review and decision-making.
  • Apply project scoring frameworks to evaluate and track acquisition opportunities based on site quality, development status, market access, and strategic fit.
  • Manage NDA, MSA, and development activities with consultants.
  • Support and maintain relationships with renewable developers, IPPs, and project owners with acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Partner with Legal, Accounting, Interconnection, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to assess project feasibility and integration requirements and moving projects through to NTP.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting or participating in the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage, or similar).
  • Familiarity with project development processes including permitting, interconnection, land/real estate, and offtake.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and counterparty relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to synthesize project details and status updates for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Additional Qualifications Desired

  • Experience with energy storage project development or integration of storage into renewable projects.
  • Experience with M&A of projects.
  • Experience working in early-stage or high-growth companies where processes are still being built.


Work Location: Onsite - San Jose, CA

Salary Range: $117,000 USD - $225,000 USD

Salary Basis: Annual

The actual salary offered will be within the posted range and determined based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experiences, credentials and expertise, as they pertain to the position's requirements.
