The Salesforce Technical Architect acts as an intermediary between the Gordian Sales, Operations & Marketing organization and the technical community working with IT project teams and business counterparts to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. The candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering CRM and workflow solutions using Salesforce and related technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of Salesforce related applications and projects.

Here's where you'll demonstrate your competencies:
  • Partners with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, translate and document business requirements into technical requirements
  • Partners with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize IT Projects and enhancements
  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to Salesforce release upgrades.
  • Maintains a high-level of familiarity with other IT system / business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points (i.e. ERP, Quality management system, etc.)
  • Collaborates with functional areas of the business and IT to identify, evaluate and implement new applications, business processes and technologies to drive business performance improvements
  • Works closely with business leadership to respond to, and proactively identify process improvement opportunities
  • Educates and evangelizes CRM best practices to internal constituents to ensure solutions delivered are best of breed for the company's business model and culture
  • Participates in project meetings, design reviews, training, exercises, and other events as required in support of projects throughout the entire project management lifecycle
  • Coordinates project resources (including third party resources) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Experience analyzing, supporting, and implementing IT solutions for various operational business functions in a Business Analyst role. Experience with Sales teams preferred

Our Needs

Here's what we'll need from you:

  • Experience with Sales Acceleration and Marketing Automation platforms
  • End to end implementation experience including requirements documentation, systems configuration, project management, issue management, communication and change management
  • Knowledge of programming languages and database architecture
  • Demonstrated experience working with global teams and supporting global business functions
  • Strong understanding of system design and system integrations.
  • Self-motivated team player with clear and effective communications skills; solid time management & organization skills; able to manage multiple and often changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers
  • Travel < 15%

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,200.00 - 150,800.00
