OverviewResponsibilities
As anInformation Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Serve as theprincipal advisor to the Information System Owner
- Reviewand developInformation Systems (IS) accreditation/certificationsupport documentation.
- MaintainRMF standardsand Configuration Management
- PerformSTIGS / SCAPon the network, Self Inspections, and enforce remediation actions
- AssessVulnerability and Risk Management
- Create and maintain systemAssessment and Authorizationpolicies.
- Create, update, and monitor/maintain SOPs and plans includingPO&AMs,Continuous Monitoring, SSPs, and Incident Responses
- Performaudits (Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly)to identifyvulnerabilities and implementcountermeasures
- Maintain IS security records andadvise and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements
- Tracksoftware and hardware End of Life (EOL)andEnd of Service Life (EOSL)
- Providesecurity coordination and reviewson all system test plans
- Attend systemIntegrated Product Team (IPT)meetings.
Qualifications
- Active TS clearance with SAP eligibility.
- Bachelors degree
- 8-10 years of relevant experiencesupporting DoD/IC security and Information Technology systems
- Current DOD IAT Level III certification: e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH
- Experience with assessment tools such asACAS, SCAP, and STIG Viewer
- Adept at briefing executivesand program IPT level leadership
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Possess an analytical mindset with effectiveproblem-solving skills
- Current or priorSpecial Access Programexperiencea plus!
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $133,000.00/Yr. - USD $165,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
