Job DescriptionAccenture Federal Services is looking for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the security, compliance, and risk management of cloud-based systems for the program. You'll maintain the operational security posture required for authorization to operate, support continuous monitoring and RMF/JSIG accreditation activities, and work closely with security engineering, DevOps, and IT operations teams to keep systems compliant as they evolve.
What You'll Own- Continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis, including validating remediation actions and documenting POA&M updates
- RMF/JSIG documentation packages - SSP, SAP, SAR, POA&M, and continuous monitoring artifacts - supporting ATO and audit activities
- Security control implementation and compliance with STIG/CIS benchmarks and security authorization baselines
- Coordination with system administrators, security engineers, and DevOps teams on system changes that affect security posture, including Zero Trust Architecture requirements
- Incident handling and investigation of security anomalies, escalating and tracking recovery actions
- Audit log review and continuous monitoring tool analysis to identify anomalies, threats, and insider risk
What You'll Deliver- Systems that maintain compliance with their security authorization package and ATO requirements
- Complete, audit-ready RMF documentation supporting authorization and assessment activities
- Timely identification, tracking, and remediation of vulnerabilities and security findings
- Documented incident response actions with verified restoration of affected controls
- A continuous monitoring program that measurably improves system security posture over time
Here's What You Need- 3+ years of experience in an ISSO or equivalent security role - implementing security controls under RMF, JSIG, or ICD 503, using vulnerability management and SIEM tools (e.g., Nessus/ACAS, Splunk), and supporting cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+), or DoD 8140 equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
Bonus Points If You Have- DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP), or an AWS/Azure security certification
- Experience with STIG compliance tooling (SCAP Compliance Checker, Evaluate-STIG, eMASS) and DISA STIGs
- Experience with endpoint security platforms (Microsoft Defender, Trellix ePO) or a security incident response team (NOC/SOC)
- Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS/AKS)
- Familiarity with National Security systems and air-gapped environments
Security Requirements- Active TS clearance required; SCI preferred

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
