Pay Range: $37.85-$44.28 per hour
Job Description:
Position Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with an Industrial Engineering background to support and optimize our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on driving efficiency, improving quality, and enhancing processes through data-driven analysis and hands-on shop floor support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing and distribution operations with a focus on process efficiency and quality improvement
- Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses, including support of incentive pay systems (e.g., CIPP)
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and process design
- Participate in total preventative maintenance (TPM) and facilities-related initiatives
- Create and maintain clear, compliant documentation and technical procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal teams
- Provide hands-on shop floor support and troubleshooting (approximately 60% of time on feet)
- Analyze data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and related tools
- Work flexible hours as needed to support production operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience preferred
- Experience with manufacturing/distribution processes, tooling, quality, and facilities
- Exposure to time studies, work measurement, or incentive-based pay systems
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for approximately 60% of the workday
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as needed
