Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Industrial Engineer (Level 2) for a contract opportunity in Portland, OR.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED • SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
- 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
- Data analysis
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Experience with work measurement
- Problem solving including root cause analysis
- Manufacturing experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESOur Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, as well as utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve flow of products and people throughout the site. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter and a collaborative team player. Our business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURSFULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
