Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working with Mil-Spec special processes (heat treatment, stress relief, chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.).
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with paint processing - part preparation, spray-painting, and thickness testing.
  • Candidate must have experience writing instructions and FAI's.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and audit quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for coated parts (chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.) both manufactured and procured.
  • Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
  • Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Lead failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective preventive action (CAPA) implementation, guaranteeing reliability and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance and productivity.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Accredited Bachelor's Degree.


WORK HOURS

  • Full-Time- 4/10-1st Shift.


ADDITIONAL

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
